I’ve enjoyed picking my older boy from school. With a broad smile he would run to me, hug me and eagerly relate the day’s events to me. Since I am on maternity leave, I’ve the privilege of picking Xiang from school daily. However, this is a completely different experience altogether.   

Sometime ago, the teacher said,

Xiang Xiang’s Mummy, see, Xiang Xiang wore his shoes wrongly but refused to change them. He keeps digging his nose in class.

Not too long ago, the teacher said,

Xiang Xiang’s Mummy, Xiang Xiang kissed a girl in class today. He grabbed and kissed her.

Recently, the teacher said,

Xiang Xiang’s Mummy, Xiang Xiang bit his classmate today – on the thigh – see, got bite mark and a bit red!

Most recently,

I lost the courage to pick him from school.

The lil’ monster coiled the broken yoyos and made them into head gears for his self-invented tribal dance.

He’s undeniably mischievous.

Really cute .
