Xuan’s Milestone August 3, 2007

Our little baby is not so little anymore. He’s all so cutie and cuddly. He smiles, laughs, gurgles, when we talk to him. And I thought I just gave birth to him yesterday.
Xuan is such a good baby. He only wakes up once at night for feed, a very short feed. When he’s a wake, he plays on his own in his cot. He seldom cries and asks to be carried but when we carry him, his little chubby face lit up and starts ‘talking’ to us. Unlike the two older boys who needs to be rock to sleep, Xuan sleeps on his own when his little stomach is full. And YES!, he wee wee and poo poo in the toilet bowl too.
The only complain I have – Xuan’s a BOY!

Arent you a lucky one. I remember those early days so vividly. Putting them to bed was a total nitemare. Brought me to tears.
That’s a lovely video of Xuan. Chloe was clapping, smiling and “talking” when she saw Xuan on the video! I guess baby can always relate to one another :)

How did you managed to toilet train him? Any tips? how to start? no diapers at all?

Heard of Elimination Communication? Do a google on EC. I do part-time EC, which means, I still put Xuan on disposable diapers at night but try my best to queue him in the day. I borrowed this book from our local library which I find very useful, Diaper Free by Ingrid Bauer and The Diaper-Free Baby: The Natural Toilet Training Alternative by Christine Gross-loh
I’ve said this before but I gotta say it again… u’re an awesome mum (already diaper training your baby). As for your only complaint… I think should be forgotten liao cos Xuan sounds like a very considerate baby. =)

yes, have actually read the book. But was so tired with bfg that i didnt try EC. =P hehe, you are really an incredible mummy. have lots to learn from you!
we jus got back sunday. once i settle down i drop by k? hopefully xuan do not outgrow his gift by the time i visit lol!
