Scrapbooking November 7, 2007

Just like the K-dramas, scrapbook-ing is yet another obsession I cautiously steer away. But recently, I found THE perfect reason.
A wall!

Yes, this wall at the entrance of our home. Many visitors were attracted to the photographs. So, I ambitiously declared that I wanted to cover yet another corner of our home with my work of art. And of course, June’s masterpieces inspired me. She pointed me to Shabby Princess for a start. And I’ve been hooked since.

I’ve been using photoDraw with great ease for all my graphic work since time in memorial. The problem is I could not save images at high res for printing. Thus, scrapbooking is a good opportunity for me to pick up Adobe Photoshop.
These are my first two attempts after days of trials and errors! More to come.

Nice improvements. I can see you have been hooked.
Hie Hie,
I have been following ur webbie for quite sometime..It’s really a pleasure to read! I’ve gained more knowledge, thanks!
I am a special ed. teacher and I truly agree that Photoshop is a wonderful program but I recommend Powerpoint too! It’s easier to use and coupled with a few other programs like Audacity and Picasa (u can download them for free!), you can still create wonderful things for YH and his bro!
I can email u 2 simple stories that I did for my students if you’d like for samples.=)
Thus, scrapbooking is a good opportunity for me to pick up Adobe Photoshop.
exactly my sentiments!! thanks to SB (scrapbook), now i can use photoshop.. i used to dun even know how to draw a filled rectangle with that **#&&$ software.. heh.
Yi Hang, U look very handsome with the denture on. Love U heaps.
Oh Yi Hang, my first thought when I saw your latest pic was “You are so handsome”. You are such a special boy, very special and your courage is just admirable. Big hugs to you and your parents!
Hi Huda, Thank you in advance for sharing the sample stories of your students. Really appreciate it.
I’ve been using PICASA and ppt as well. :)
Pris, thanks for following our blog, for growing with our kids, and us as parents and always leaving words of encouragements. I felt we’ve known for a long time though we’ve never met. Hopefully one day, our kids will get to play together while we get to catch up face to face.
